WELCOME

Bampton Bark Park is conveniently located just outside Bampton in Mid Devon and offers a secure, fenced area of 6 acres for you and your dogs to exercise and play.

We have areas of the field that are mown for recall training and playtime and other parts of the field which are left to nature, except for paths mown around them. There are rustic benches so you can sit and relax. If the weather is being true to the West Country, there is a shelter with a seating area for you to enjoy your flask of tea or picnic. There is good viewing across the field so you can keep an eye on your dogs.

Please could we ask that everyone takes responsibility for their own dog's waste and we would be very grateful if you could use biodegradable poo bags and use the bins provided. We allow bookings of up to 4 dogs. If you would like to bring more please contact us directly.

Next to the shelter there is a tap for fresh water and a water trough.

Due to the nature of the field here are some wetter areas so we recommend Wellington boots or other suitable footwear. There is a cold water tap where you can wash your dog off in the muddier months.

FIELD ETIQUETTE

Rule 1

Please pick up all your dog waste using biodegradable poo bags, and use the bin provided. Any other dog poo bags need to be taken home with you.

We would be very grateful if you could also remove any toys or damaged toys at the end of your session.

Rule 2

Please respect the start and finish times of your booking.

If you arrive early, please wait in your car until the session before you has left.

Please make sure you leave enough time within your slot to vacate the field.

Rule 3

We would love your dogs to feel at home at Bampton Bark Park, but please don’t let them dig or try to climb the fence.

Any escaped dog is not the responsibility of Bampton Bark Park.

Rule 4

Please make sure the gate is secure behind you on entering and leaving the field.

Parking is provided within the field, please do not park on the lane.

Rule 5

Fresh cold water is provided for dogs to drink and please feel free to wash them off here too.

Please do not use any soap or shampoo.

Rule 6

Having been part of an organic scheme for many years, we would respectfully ask that you don’t use any soaps or shampoos when washing your dogs off.

Rule 7

We would love for you to enjoy a picnic, but please no barbeques or fires and please take all rubbish with you.

Rule 8

We have a maximum of 4 dogs for your booked time, if you would like to bring more dogs please get in touch with us.

We ask that all dogs are fully vaccinated. If your dog is at all unwell you should not bring them.

Rule 9

Children are welcome but they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
